Life Without George Karl

George Karl's departure and sickness towards the end of the season has been very hard for the Nuggets players an staff to handle. All the players were greatly affected which can be seen in their play after he announced his sickness and his departure.

The outcomes of his departure of such a crucial part in the season only led to the Nuggets going 12-12 with Adrian Dantly, team chemistry getting "shaky" and nearly destroyed, an early exit from the playoffs an last but least the Nuggets at home instead of preparing to play the lakers in the western conference final. His departure ultimately killing this Nuggets team in the end.

Its kinda hard to think and focus all your attention on a game where you need all that when your head coach is sick with throat an neck cancer and has to watch the game rather than coach
the game. It seems as if the Nuggets weren't ready to move on without George Karl and that was reflected in their play on the court. Basically the Nuggets weren't in the right state of mind to continue and muster a come back in the playoffs.

At least now the worst is over and now the Nuggets can focus on their plans for next season where they expect everybody to be back and fully healthy, so they can make their championship run that was delayed by George Karl's departure and sickness.
