Coby Karl Getting Ready

Coby Karl was signed by the Nuggets towards the end of the 2009-2010 season. He has been in the Pepsi center working hard to prove he belongs in the league he is in. Coby Karl is the son of George Karl as we all know and he has bounced around the league and the D League over the course of the four years he has been in the NBA.

Coby started his NBA career for the Lakers for two seasons and went to the Cavilers for his third season. Now Coby is on the Nuggets and he feels he has found a home with the Nuggets and his father.

Coby is preparing for the summer league where he plans to play for the Nuggets along with point guard Ty Lawson. Coby is working hard to show that he belongs in the NBA but I'm sure all his hard work will payoff in the long run and benefit both him and the Nuggets organization. Coby desires to have his name called by his father to come in the game and contribute.

Even though he is 27, Coby feels he is still a prospect for NBA teams. At this point now the only team he wants to play for is the Denver Nuggets. An Coby feels he has a chance and opportunity in Denver.

Ty Lawson's Exceptional Rookie Season is Over and he now Looks ahead Towards the Future

Ty Lawson was one of the best rookies this year. He was one of the few rookies to be playing on a championship contending team and accepted a backup role behind Chauncy Billups, unlike the top picks who started on losing teams.

Ty played exceptional this season backing up Chauncy Billups and showed that he can lead the team. He started in 8 games for the Nuggets while Chauncy Billups was injured. During those games he averaged 17 points and 6 assist which is great for any rookie to average. He was one of the few rookie point guards to get regular rotation minutes and alongside Brandon Jennings as the only two rookie point guards to make the playoffs.

A few memorable moments Ty Lawson had this year was when he dunked on 7 foot Dj Mbenga of the Lakers during the regular season and when he dunked on 7 foot Kosta Kofus of the Jazz during game six of the first round series which put the Nuggets up by two later in the game.

This offseason Ty Lawson looks to get much better for next year. Lawson will spend part of his offseason working out with "The Hoops Whisperer" Idan Ravin along with Kevin Durant. Ravin has made many great players better such as Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant. Durant and Lawson were high school and AAU teammates.

Ty Lawson is no longer a rookie and has to get ready for the rest of his career which starts this offseason and this summer.

Chris "The BirdMan" Anderson is Recovering from Knee surgery

Chris "The Bird Man" Anderson under went knee surgery for an injury he suffered during game 2 of the Nuggets first round playoff series against the Utah Jazz. Though injured Bird Man played all 6 games in the series and endured the pain.

Im sure we all know Bird Man did not look like himself at all during the playoffs. He was some what slower, less hyper, active and less "The Bird Man" in general. Im pretty sure most people thought it was because he didn't have his signature style of hair throughout every game that he was also known for and had "Normal Guy Hair" which was unusual for him and for the fans to see. The truth is he was this way due to the injury he suffered in his knee which took some of the flight from "The Bird Man".

The Nuggets lacked defense throughout the playoff series and that's where Bird Man's injury slowed him down the most in. For the season he was averaging 1.88 blocks per game but in the playoffs he was averaging 1.00 blocks per game. Since K-Mart wasn't himself due to injury the Nuggets needed more from the Bird Man on defense and offense which everyone one on the Nuggets squad lacked except Carmelo Anthony after game 1.

The Bird Man should and is expected to be back to full health by next season and be ready to go back to being The Bird Man we all know, love and need if we expect to get far next year.
